A huge thank you to all the Members, Group Coordinators and Voluteers who have been busy organising awareness days, tea parties and fundraising events to take place during RA Awareness Week. We are delighted with the the fantastic reponse we have had to our request for you all to get involved and are very excited that the first RA Awareness Week is going to be a great success!
If you are planning an activity, want to chat to someone about any ideas or simply have a query please do get in touch with the Fundraising team and we will be happy to help.
Thank you again - we can't do it without you!ThumpUp

Hi Tracey, can you explain the 'Thunderclap' please I saw a message through facebook and thought I understood that a nras message would go out at 1.p.m. on a certain date. I went to sign up to it but it seemed that it wanted me to write a message, is that correct or am I missing something?
Thanks
Sheila

Hi Sheila,

I think that may have directed you to start your own. If you go to this link: Thunderclap and click the orange box with either support with twitter or facebook, that should set you up to support us! Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Be quick though, the Thunderclap is released at 1PM TODAY!

Thanks,

Oli

I also got confused with the thunderclap Sad

Can I ask, is the awareness week going to be in the news this week? I checked the health page on the BBC website & nothing was there Sad

We are feeding into the media, but its at their discretion as to what they include. We have had success today with the Daily Express and on Sunday - the Sunday Post in Scotland. We will continue drip feeding the media for the whole week, but if you all want to approach your local media outlet then please do. You can request RA Week Press Releases from Andrew@nras.org.uk
